Marvila is our neighbourhood

In August 2021 we moved to Marvila, one of Lisbon’s most vibrant neighbourhoods and, beeing a remote-first company, it was very important for us that our office could be as comfortable and cool as possible.

We fell in love with our office, but even more with everything the neighbourhood offers. With an incredibly interesting and diverse dynamic that adapts, given all the contrasts inherent to the area, Marvila retains its character, historically through its architecture and cobblestone streets, and generally, with its eclectic mix of businesses and close-knit community of active residents and visitors from around the world.

Marvila is an old manufacturing district on the banks of the Tagus River, next to large factories and warehouses, that is slowly becoming the coolest area in Lisbon, with a lot to discover and that we would like to show you. So, where do we start?

Let’s start with the Lisbon Beer District, right in the heart of Marvila!

It is the epicenter of Lisbon’s beer and the place to visit for all beer lovers. Today it has 4 craft breweries: “Dois Corvos”, “Lince”, “Musa” and “Oitava Colina” that have been promoting several events together to develop a gastronomic, beer, artistic and retail destination, such as the Oktober Fest that happens this weekend.

The Oktober Fest invades Marvila on October 15 and 16 with a program based on craft beer, music and, of course, several snacks, from the traditional ham sandwich to the Central European goulash and we will be there!

Marvila has a lot to offer and now we can enjoy it too!
